How To Become A Partner

For a microfinance institution (MFI) to become a partner of United Prosperity, the MFI must:
  • Serve at least 1,000 borrowers with microfinance services
  • Have a history of at least 2-3 years of lending to poor, excluded, and/or vulnerable people for the purpose of alleviating poverty or reducing vulnerability
  • Be registered as a legal entity in their country of operation
  • Have at least 1 year of audited financial statements
  • Confirm that overseas guarantees are accepted by major banks in your country
For technology and innovation partners, the organization must, at a minimum:
  • Have an innovative product or technology for the poor
  • Support livelihood opportunities for at least 1,000 individuals
  • Or have a history of a minimum of 1 year of working with the economically disadvantaged sections of society
  • Be registered as a legal entity in their country of operation
  • Have at least 1 year of financial audits
  • Confirm that overseas guarantees are accepted by major banks in your country
