About M.K. Jeyaletchchami

JeyaLetchumi is a new client to the BMI living in a small estate village in Puduluoya in the NuwaraEliya District. She has been engaged in a very small scale Dairy farm. She has a wealth of knowledge in Dairy farming as she has over 20 years experience in the business. For better financial prospects she started her own Dairy farm on a small scale and earns approximately LKR 10,000/- per month from this business. JeyaLetchumi is new to the BMI and has applied for her first loan amounting to LKR 25,000/-. She intends to use this money for the extending and renovation work of the cattle sheds. She hopes she can improve the state of the farm and have at least one addition for the purpose of milking. JeyaLetchumi is married and her husband works on the tea estate as a labourer. They have four schooling children ages from 7years to 16years. Her dependent mother also lives with them. She hopes with the improvement to the farm she will be able to provide her family with the bare essentials and meet their day to day living expenses. JeyaLetchumi is a hard worker and is ambitious to see her farm doing extremely well in the years to come.
