Nandana is from a small village called Udumulla in the Kurunegala District. Nandana is a carpenter and has been engaging his effort in making all sorts of wooden toys. It is done completely by hand and he dedicates his time into making all the small details perfect. It is completely based on his own skill and talent and he is very passionate about this new venture.
Nandana lives with his dependent parent and his income is the sole income for the two of them. He would like to make a decent living by developing his skill and business. Nandana is a new client to BMI and has applied for his first loan amounting to LKR 20,000/- to develop his business by way of purchasing more raw materials. He hopes to be able to supply his toys to the town shops and increase the sales in volume and thus profit. He is ambitious and hopes to be a very successful entrepreneur. He hopes that this will enable him to look after his parent and also save for his own future.
