She started buying salt and packing into small packs and started to sell to the village people and grocery shops. She took her first BMI business loan of Rs. 25,000 in 2012 and invested in her business. Her business activity improved by this investment and at present she earns a monthly income of Rs. 20,000 by selling salt packs. With 15 years experience in this trade, Meherban has now applied for her second BMI loan of Rs. 50,000 to further expand her income generation activity.
