Leel is a reputed member of BMI since 2010. He owns few acres of land and has a small poultry farm. He is rearing broilers and his wife also provides a greater support for his business.
Leel became a member of BMI in 2010 and went for his first loan of LKR 25,000. He used this money to purchase a new stock of broilers for his business. With the gained momentum of his business, he wanted to further expand the volume of his production. Then he obtained His second loan of LKR 50,000 from BMI. The loan was used to expand the cage area and expanded his business. His current from the business is around LKR 40,000 per month.
Since there is a good potential for development , Leel is now hoping to further expand his business. He is expecting to get few additional bird stocks and construct new housed for the stock. To finance this, he is expecting his third BMI loan of LKR 75,000.
Leel and his wife have two daughters and they also take care of his elderly mother as well. Since he does not have a permanent occupation, he wishes to develop this business into a successful one. He wants to save money for their two daughter and at the same time to be a successful trader in the area.
