About Dulfica Mohamed

27 years old Dulfica Mohamed is married to Hisham (In the photo) and they have a little son. Her husband is general businessman who sells grocery items to villagers from home at Ipalogama. Dulfica also helps her husband in every time she can. Then she went for her first business loan from BMI, Rs. 25,000 in 2011. She used the loan to purchase more selling items for their business. It helped them to gain more customers for their business. As their business now generating an average monthly income of Rs. 10,000, Dulfica now plans to go for her second BMI loan of Rs. 50,000. She hopes to use this amount to further expand the business by purchasing more items for their shop so that they can make more profit as well as provide part time employment opportunities for few village youth as well. Dulfica is very ambitious and working hard to earn a good income to uplift the level of living in her family. Both of her and her husband’s hopes are mainly centered around the little son and she wishes to give him a good education in the future.
