Nalani Sunanda lives in the rural village called DekeEla in Anuradhapuara District. Her husband is a army soldier and they have one daughter and one son. Nalani is engaged in banana cultivation. She has started this about an year ago. Her monthly income is around LKR 7,500. She has recently joined BMI and now expecting her first loan of LKR 30,000. She plans to use the money to purchase more planting materials for her cultivation. She wants to support her husband in maintaining a good household economy. She is planning to develop her cultivation in future to earn a higher income to support the education of their 2 kids.

Nalani is a farmer who does Plantain cultivation. She is a very proud to be a BMI member, because her venture has started from a BMI Loan. She took a loan of Rs. 30,000 from BMI to start this cultivation. Nalani is living in village called Ipalogama. The environment where Nalani does her plantation cultivation gives her a good crop. She didn’t fail to grab the services and guidance for BMI too. BMI gives the guidance as Enterprise development services. It is a good progress which gained through her hard work.
