Anurapriya runs a small retail grocery store in Ipalogama in the Anuradhapura district. He commenced his business on a very scale and through good customer service and dedication was able to build a regular loyal customer base for his grocery store. Due to the increased cost of living Anura wanted to expand his business further and earn more profit. But at that time he had no money to invest in it. That is where he looked for BMI loan of Rs.50,000 in December 2012. Anura utilized this loan to purchase required additional stocks for his business and also to expand his shop space. Now his income is considerably increased and he is now interested in developing it more. He is grateful to BMI for providing loans at very reasonable interest rates at the moment of need to him. He also thanks BMI for expanding to their area and provides accessible credit services to him and many other people who need it. He believes that timely support is what helped the successful expansion of his business.
