She is in this profession from last ten years.She wants to decorate her saloon and also wants to expand the size of as it is very small. It cannot hold four people at a time. In order to do this she has applied for a micro loan. She has one son who is working on the basis of daily wages and her monthly income is Rs3000/-(USD66). She also wants to increase her income to improve her standard of living.
Gayatri Devi is sitting first from the left in the group photo. She is 36 years old and married. She provides auto service with her husband. She wants to purchase her own auto rickshaw as she is doing this business by hiring an auto and she has to pay rent to the owner of the auto. To earn more she wants to buy an auto and has hence applied for micro loan. She has seven members in her family including three daughters and two sons who go to school. Her monthly income is Rs 3000/-(USD66).
Rina Devi is sitting in the middle of the group photo. She is 40 years old and a married woman. She is having a small mixture shop where she sells different kinds of nuts and pickles. She wants to expand her business and invest in her shop as her customers are growing day by day. So to do this she has applied for a micro loan. She is doing this business from six years back. She also wants to save something for the future requirements to deal with the emergencies. She has two daughters and one son who are go to school. Her monthly income is Rs 3000/-(USD66).
These entrepreneurs are very dedicated and want to do good for themselves and their families. They understand the concept of Joint Liability Group. In case any member is unable to repay the micro loan, they will pay on the behalf of the member whose loan is delinquent. The entrepreneurs in the group support each other through the joint liability concept.
