She is in this business from the last seven years. She supplies milk in her locality and also to some hotels nearby. She wants to purchase some cows and has thus applied for a micro loan. She also wants to improve her standard of living by earning more. Her monthly income is Rs 3000/-(USD66). Guria Devi is taking the second cycle loan from Ajiwika Society as she has repaid the first cycle loan successfully. Saraswati Devi is standing first from the right in the group photo. She is 35 years old and married. She has tailoring business which she does from her house. She is doing this business from three years back. She has many customers and so she wants to buy another tailoring machine for this business. She also wants to have a small shop in the market place in order to attract more customers and to do all these things she has applied for a micro loan. She has four members in her family including two daughters who go to school. She also wants to have some saving for the future requirements. Her monthly income is Rs 2000/-(USD44). These entrepreneurs are very dedicated and want to do good for themselves and their families. They understand the concept of Joint Liability Group. In case any member is unable to repay the micro loan, they will pay on the behalf of the member whose loan is delinquent.
