She has two sons who work on the basis of daily wages. Her monthly income is Rs 3000/-(USD66). Balika Devi is standing first from the left in the group photo. She is 53 years old and a married woman. Her husband is a peddler of fish. She wants to expand her business as she has many customers. She is doing this business from the last thirty years. Due to less capital she is unable to provide proper service to her customers. To solve this problem and serve her customers on time and satisfy them and also earn more she has applied for a micro loan. She has three sons who are working on the basis of daily wages at a construction site. Her monthly income is Rs 2500/-(USD55). These entrepreneurs are very dedicated and want to do good for themselves and their families. They understand the concept of Joint Liability Group. In case any member is unable to repay the micro loan, they will pay on the behalf of the member whose loan is delinquent.
