Vasantha is living with his family in Manupa in Anuradhapura district. He has a schooling son. So, Vasantha took the responsibility to spend for child’s education. So, he has a need earn more income for their family. With his one year of experience, he has a plan to go on a long journey in the food business. He has small tea shop in the village. He sells short-eats and tea in this shop.
In 2012, Vasantha joined with BMI. He received his first loan of Rs. 30,000 to repair his tea shop. Because he used the loan properly; he could save some amounts after spending. He bought a new cupboard for his shop. It gave a good look to the Tea shop too. He raised his income up to Rs. 25,000 after the loan. Now, Vasantha applied for a loan amount of Rs. 50,000. His purpose is to add some more food varieties to his shop.
