Remina runs a small grocery store in Serunuwara in Trincomalee district. Her store is 2 years old and it is located in a coastal area. She lives with her husband and children in that small village. Husband is a laborer and he also helps out with his wife’s business. It is great pleasure to have such a client for BMI. She h her as made her own venture without any support. She is very confident of make her business a success. Remina has two schooling sons. She and her husband both are in a mission of giving a good education for their children. Remina became a new BMI member in 2013 and she applied for first financial assistance in the same year. Her monthly income went upto Rs. 10,000. Remina uses to sell food items and home needs in her shop. Now, Remina plans to increase the variety of goods, and make a supermarket in the future. So, she has applied for another loan amount of Rs. 30,000 to buy other goods varieties.
