Naz Khatun sitting second from the left runs a small iron shop. She wants to expand her business and to earn more profit and hence applied for micro loan. Her husband helps her in this business. She has five members in her family including one daughter and two sons. She wants to save something for the future for the higher education of her children. Her monthly income is Rs2000/-(USD44). Hamida Khatun sitting in the middle of the group photo runs a small shoe shop. She wants to expand her business as customers are increasing and demanding products of different variety, hence she has applied for a micro loan. She has seven members in her family including two sons and three daughters who attend school. Her monthly income is Rs2000/-(USD44). Anjum Khatun sitting first from the right has a small furniture shop. She wants to invest more capital to make it attractive to the customers and hence applied for micro loan. She has six members in her family including four sons among them one attends school and the remaining three work as daily wage workers. Her husband helps her in this business and her monthly income is Rs 3500/-(USD77). These entrepreneurs are very dedicated and want to do good for themselves and their families.
