Dulika runs a small Tea shop in Kothmale village, the village is situated in Nuwara-Eliya district. She has about two years experience in this field. She joined with BMI in the year of 2012 and received her first loan of Rs. 30,000 from BMI. The loan has been used to repair her Tea shop. With the loan she was able to repair her tea shop.
Now Dulika’s current monthly income is Rs. 15,000. She has two sons and a daughter. All are schooling. Her husband is a Military officer. She looks after the Children’s education and spends her income too. Now, Dulika applies for her second loan amount Rs. 50,000. She plans to buy a pastry cupboard from that amount. So, she can keep her food warm.
